Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Officer to join our team at our cutting-edge stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our facility, staff, and visitors during various events and daily operations. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadium Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services Monitor and ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics Collaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during sports events and other large gatherings Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in stadium management Perform regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Minimum of 12 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large-scale facilities or stadiums In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operations, including local Saudi Arabian regulations Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools Familiarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocols Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus First Aid and CPR certification Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive safety culture Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
