Job Description Job Title HSE Officer – UAE National Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Sector: Rail / Metro / Transportation Infrastructure Employment Type: Full-time Nationality Requirement: UAE Nationals only Job Description We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to support project HSE activities across major infrastructure and rail projects. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project safety standards, and supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures on site. Key Responsibilities Support the HSE Manager in implementing project safety policies and procedures Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety assessments Assist in risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems Monitor compliance with HSE standards, procedures, and regulations Participate in incident investigations and reporting Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE training sessions Monitor hazardous materials management and employee exposure risks Support continuous improvement initiatives in HSE practices Promote a strong safety culture across employees and subcontractors Participate in emergency response and act as contact point when required Qualifications UAE National (mandatory) Minimum 1–2 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and safety reporting Familiarity with OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 standards NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent qualification Minimum IELTS 5.5 Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations in the UAE UAE driving license preferred Additional Information Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Unlimited Job family: Quality - Safety - Environment
