Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field like engineering, safety, or environmental science, along with recognized certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH.
A valid UAE driving license is mandatory
Developing measures to assure personnel safety.
Attend Internal & External HSE Audits.
Support the development of OHS policies conforming to ISO 45001 standards. Review and update existing policies and measures.
Investigate accidents.
Conduct toolbox meetings and maintain injury logs and reports.
Verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Promotes safe practices at the job site and enforce safety guidelines.
Conduct training and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.
Conduct investigations of all accidents and near-misses and report to concerned authorities.
Respond to employees’ safety concerns.
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
Inspect premises and the work sites to identify issues or non-conformity.
