Are you passionate about safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and creating a culture of ownership? Are you an experienced HSE professional with a background in hazardous substances, chemical exposure, and ergonomic standards?
We have an exciting opportunity as an HSE Program Lead at our Specialized Nutrition factory in Zoetermeer.

Our team’s mission is to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for over 500 Danoners, while supporting the production of specialized medical nutrition for vulnerable groups in over 55 countries. Key deliverables and priorities include:

  • Leading compliance with legal health & safety standards and managing corrective actions.
  • Driving chemical exposure assessments and managing the dangerous substances list.
  • Developing ergonomic programs aligned with local and global best practices.
  • Facilitating internal audits, safety trainings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Supporting engineering projects and HSE-related initiatives across departments.

In your role as HSE Program Lead, being part of the HSE team, your key responsibilities are:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal HS standards and liaise with external authorities.
  • Lead chemical exposure assessments and collaborate on managing hazardous substances.
  • Develop and implement ergonomic improvements across the site.
  • Organize and support HSE meetings, audits, and internal communications.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, observations, and training.

About you

  • Proven education related to occupational safety and/or Occupational hygienist;
  • Safety is a passion for you and you are willing to develop your knowledge at this direction!
  • Motivated, driven, solution-oriented and a team player;
  • Persevere until you have achieved the desired result and always strive for a “win-win” situation;
  • People-minded person, who has a hands-on approach;
  • Smooth communication skills and can speak in front of a group;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package.
