HSE/Safety Manager- Telecommunications

POSITION OVERVIEW

The HSE/Safety Manager for Telecommunications oversees the development, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental programs within the telecommunications sector. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and promotes a culture of safety across all operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Certification in safety management or related field (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
• Experience in conducting safety training and workshops.
• Familiarity with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and practices.

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures specific to telecommunications operations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
