Responsibilities :

• Coordinates, implement and maintain safety, health and environment (HSE) activities.
• Supports lead HSE to implement project HSE programs & initiatives
• Informs in writing to the HSE Manager on completion of the provision of necessary HSE equipment and fire preventive measures has been taken on board.
• Inspects and ensure safety measure have been taken on board.
• Endorses the various Permit-To-Work authorised by the company.
• Conduct daily inspection of project work and activities to ensure compliance with Government legislations and company’s regulations.
• Investigates incidents, analysis of root causes and recommend corrective measures.
• Performs fire fighting and rescue operation when required.
• Plans, control and prepare work schedules, manpower distribution and tasks.
• Plans and execute yearly fire drills.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by superior(s) from time to time.

Requirements :

• Degree in any Engineering or Diploma disciplines
• Possessed following safety certificates will be an added advantage
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
