Description BROUSSARD BROTHERS, INC. IS LOOKING FOR AN HSE SPECIALIST! Position Summary The HSE Specialist supports the company’s health, safety, and environmental programs across facilities, projects, and client locations. This role helps maintain compliance with safety regulations, identifies operational risks, and promotes a strong safety culture through training, inspections, and incident management. Key Responsibilities • Support implementation and improvement of company HSE policies and management systems • Conduct safety inspections and provide on-site safety support at facilities, vessels, platforms, an work locations • Identify hazards and recommend risk mitigation strategies and safe work practices • Participate in incident response, investigations, and corrective action development • Assist with safety training, documentation, and employee coaching on safety procedures • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, drug and alcohol testing, and equipment monitoring • Track and maintain safety equipment such as gas detection systems • Assist with audits, safety alerts, PPE management, and emergency response equipment inspections HSE Leadership Expectations • Demonstrate and promote the company’s Safety-First culture • Support proactive safety initiatives such as Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Stop Work Authority, an safety observations • Follow all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently • Knowledge of risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety management systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) If your disability requires a reasonable accommodation to complete the application process, please contact our Human Resources Department at 3378935303 or jobs@broussardbrothers.com.
