QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High school diploma or degree in field of occupational health and safety
• Required experience of at least 3 years as HSE Advisor or similar roles, ideally in a multinational company
• Knowledge of the (Integrated Management System) IMS, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Certified ASPP with a good understanding of country-specific legislation and compliance
• Italian & English fluently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Health, Safety & Environment Specialist to join our HSE team at the Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Mozzo (Bergamo). Our site specializes in creating aroma, contributing to the flavor and fragrance industry. In this role, you will promote a culture focused on health, safety, and environmental protection. You will support the EHS Manager/RSPP and assist the business in ensuring that all HSE directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively developed and implemented at the site level.
This newly created position aims to consolidate the team and enhance the management of safety and environmental onsite. It is a permanent, full-time, and on-site role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?

Your key responsibilities include:

• Be responsible for the maintenance and the effectiveness of EHS policies, strategies & goals in compliance with legislative and company requirements
• Identify risk factors, carrying out risk assessments and related preventive and protective measures
• Gather all the information for the elaboration of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR and DUVRI)
• Manage non-conformities and define corrective actions
• Coordinate and support in the closure of health and safety root cause analysis and risk assessments in alignment with value stream safety representative(s)
• Update and revision of the EHS management systems, the main procedures, the support in the management of internal and external audit activities
• Monitoring and verifying the application of health and safety regulations in the workplace, taking care of the related documentation
• Identify the actions aimed at spreading and strengthening the EHS culture within the organization and coordinates the related initiatives that encourage proactive behavior at all levels
• Development of procedures and operating instructions for safety.
