Responsibilities / Authorities 3.1. Primary Functions Focal point of Business Line Managers for implementation of HSEMS requirements. To have adequate information about the nature of activities in his/her department. Identify all health, safety risks and environmental impacts, and the management of these risks and impacts within his/her respective Department. Communicate the overall performance of the Department to the Business Line Manager. Maintains the HSE Register (R01) of his/her respective Department which contains all identified HSE activities risks and impacts, and reference to any associated control measures and procedures. Define HSE training needs to all employees under his/her department. Participates in the Investigation of accident, work related illnesses and serious safety and health related incidents. Preparing the department for internal/external audits. 3.2. Technical Expertise Good English communication skill Good presentation skills Good coordinating skills 3.3. Business RequirementsImplement HSE policies3.4. Self Management Keen interest in learning new office software related developments Focus on day today activities   3.4. HSE Requirements Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements  BV HSE Policies procedures and practices. Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative Report immediately to HSE Representative and Business Line Manager any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.  Report immediately to HSE Representative and Business Line Manager any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do). Responsibilities
The HSE Supervisor is responsible for implementing HSEMS requirements and managing health and safety risks within their department. They also communicate performance to the Business Line Manager and maintain the HSE Register.
