JOB SUMMARY:

The HSE Supervisor for Documentation is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all HSE-related documents and records. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports the development and distribution of HSE policies and procedures, and collaborates with various teams to enhance safety and environmental performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in HSE documentation or a similar role.

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
  • Familiarity with HSE management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safety manuals.
  • Ensure proper storage and accessibility of all HSE records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage electronic and physical document control systems.
  • Ensure all HSE documentation aligns with local and international regulatory standards.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance status.
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and propose improvements.
  • Assist in developing and disseminating HSE policies and procedures to employees and contractors.
  • Monitor adherence to documented policies and suggest updates when needed.
  • Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and other departments to ensure consistent application of HSE documentation.
  • Provide training on document management systems and safety standards to relevant personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain a database for incident records and follow-ups.
