YOUR IMPACT

We are looking for a self-starter to join the established HSE Central Team, supporting the site teams. The role can be based at any LEUK site location or hybrid working. You will be working as part of the central team, supporting the HSE Systems Manager and wider HSE team to ensure that existing processes needed for the HSE management system are reviewed and revised/updated appropriately on the business management system (BMS) across the UK Electronics Division (including Cyber, Automation & Head Office) in compliance with legislation and company requirements.

The job is varied, and a wide range of skills is expected. People skills and good communication are necessary. Working as the HSE Systems Advisor you will support to the HSE Systems Manager to:

  • Ensure that the HSE Systems are robust and also support the HSE Data Analyst with the continuous improvement
  • Support in the creation and distribution of HSE Communication materials (Bulletins, Alerts etc.), in house training courses, assist with ad hoc HSE Events
  • Support on HSE Systems value testing and implementation
  • Lead on BMS updates for the HSE Systems Manager with the HSE team and subject matter experts to ensure continuous improvement
  • Act as a point of contact for queries supporting the wider HSE team with systems queries and improvements
  • Ensure that the incident management system is used, managed and maintained correctly
  • Support and guide on various HSE matters
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the sites, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
  • Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environmental standards and practices
  • Focal point for Automation HSE Advice

The role will involve occasional planned travel to other sites as part of business and team familiarisation and team development.
