Job Title: HSE Team Leader (Health, Safety & Environment Team Leader)
Location: Speke, Liverpool (with travel across multiple sites)
Salary: £32,100
Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent | 8:45am–4:45pm, Monday to Friday

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualified
  • First Aider (Mental Health First Aider desirable)
  • Experience in a Health & Safety or facilities role (desirable)
  • Background in warehousing or logistics (desirable)
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential – you’ll be travelling across sites

In this vital role, you’ll lead on HSE and Facilities Management across our sites in Liverpool, Birkenhead, Oldham and North Tyneside – ensuring our teams and spaces remain safe, compliant, and efficient. You’ll also champion a positive health & safety culture, leading internal campaigns and helping embed good practice across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading on day-to-day HSE operations and facilities management
  • Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and emergency drills
  • Managing maintenance schedules, contractor safety, and property compliance
  • Preparing H&S reports, supporting audits, and maintaining documentation
  • Leading and supporting your team (Caretaker & Cleaner), fostering a positive and safe working environment
  • Coordinating safety communications and cultural campaigns
  • Monitoring energy use, arranging inspections, and driving continual improvements
