NEBOSH IGC

  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Training
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Train-the-Trainer qualification (Level 3 AET or equivalent)
  • Certified First Aid Instructor from DCAS, Red Crescent, Highfield, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles or First Aid/Medical Emergency Response.
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering adult training programs.
  • Previous experience in industrial, oil & gas, construction, or training center environments is a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of HSE legal requirements in the UAE (e.g., OSHAD, DM-HSE, AD EHS).
  • CPR, AED, and trauma care skills for practical First Aid demonstrations.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, travel to client sites, and deliver onsite safety inductions.

Responsibilities

To deliver high-quality training programs in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and First Aid in accordance with national and international standards. The trainer will ensure learners acquire the required skills, competencies, and certifications to work safely and respond effectively to health and safety emergencies in various environments, including construction, oil & gas, industrial, and public services.
Key Responsibilities:Training Delivery:

Conduct approved HSE training programs such as:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • Basic & Advanced First Aid
  • Fire Safety
  • Work at Height
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Risk Assessment
  • Manual Handling
  • HAZMAT Awareness and Response
  • Deliver First Aid training aligned with Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), Highfield, Red Crescent, or equivalent accreditation.

Training Preparation & Documentation:

  • Prepare training materials, visual aids, handouts, and practical scenarios.
  • Conduct pre- and post-assessments to measure learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and certification issuance.

Practical Demonstration:

  • Conduct simulations, role-plays, and hands-on training using mannequins, fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, and other HSE/First Aid equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is regularly checked, maintained, and compliant with safety standards.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure training delivery is compliant with OSHAD SF, DCAS, NEBOSH, IOSH, or local authority requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation, emergency response protocols, and best practices.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect learner feedback and continuously improve course content and delivery methods.
  • Support the training center in achieving accreditation or renewal of HSE and first aid certifications.
