About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work across our project portfolio, providing practical HSEQ support and coaching to operational personnel while assisting with the ongoing development and implementation of our Integrated Management System (IMS).

Travel Requirements: Regular site travel is required. Travel schedules are largely self-managed and are expected to average approximately 2 days per month away from home, however additional travel may be required from time to time to support project and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Site Support & Engagement

• Conduct regular site visits across Coastal Electrics projects and workplaces.
• Build strong working relationships with Supervisors, Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Provide practical HSEQ coaching and support to frontline personnel.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, pre-starts and safety discussions.
• Promote positive workforce engagement and safety leadership.

Health & Safety

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and observations.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action management.
• Support risk assessments, JHAs and SWMS reviews.
• Facilitate CRAW workshops and risk review activities.
• Monitor compliance with legislative, company and client requirements.
• Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
