JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HSEQ & Contract Support Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting good practice and ensuring compliance with our duties within our specialist field or work. This position involves conducting inspections, providing guidance and support to our operational teams and conducting investigations when required as well as ensuring compliance with our external accreditations.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred.
• Strong skills in report writing to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues from incidents and accidents.
• NEBOSH qualification is desired but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

• Conduct regular inspections of sites to ensure compliance in line with business and client expectations
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings from inspections and investigations, including recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure good practice, working closely with operational leads.
• Provide training and support business as required
• Ensure suitable processes in place to ensure compliance with accreditations such as ISO / Constructionline / CHAS / Safe Contractor and other business accreditations.
• Complete internal audits proactively
• Support teams with client pre-start meetings.
• Manage Company wide training matrix with support from Operational leads.
• Be the company appointed person for HSEQ matters.
• Support operational teams with Safe system of works and safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance and best practice for company fleet management.
