GENERAL

Future Industrial Services (a member of the Augean Group) is recruiting an HSEQ Officer to support our growing business. This is a great full-time opportunity to work with one of the leading hazardous waste management companies during an exciting period of growth and development.
The HSEQ Department sits within the Corporate Stewardship team (CS team), which has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the HSEQ requirements associated with our site permits and our Integrated Management System; and are custodians of the sustainability aspirations of the company through our Environmental Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) commitments.
In your role as an HSEQ Officer, you will be working directly with the site team at Honiton and other satellite sites across the Southwest and the operational functions to maintain high standards of safety, health and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Support the safety culture
  • Assist with reporting of safety observations and near misses
  • Produce risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Make site visits to carry out HSEQ inspections
  • Audit against HSEQ standards
  • Assist with accident and incident investigations
  • Assist with producing reports and action plans
  • Assist external auditors
  • Assist close-out of HSEQ queries
  • Assist management of regulatory issues
  • Assist with on-site training and toolbox talk delivery

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £29,000.00-£30,600.00 per year
