Description

Responsibilities Conduct daily HSSE inspections across shipyard, fabrication yards, dry docks, and offshore facilities. Ensure compliance with company procedures, and permit-to-work (PTW) systems. Monitor high-risk activities such as hot works, lifting operations, confined space entry, work at height, and marine operations. Verify availability and correct use of PPE. Identify unsafe acts and conditions and implement immediate corrective actions. Participate in toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency drills. Report HSSE observations, near misses, incidents, and non-conformances. Support incident investigations and root cause analysis. Ensure environmental controls including waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control. Coordinate with supervisors and contractors to maintain safe working conditions. Maintain HSSE inspection records and reports. Requirements Qualifications & Certifications Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification (mandatory). Valid HSSE / Safety Inspector certification. Firefighting and First Aid certifications (preferred). PTW, H2S awareness, confined space, and work-at-height training (advantage). Experience Requirements Minimum 5–10 years of HSSE experience in shipyard, marine, offshore, or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of QHSSE standards, and international codes (OSHA, IMO, ISO 45001). Experience working in fabrication yards, dry docks, and vessel maintenance projects.
