Key Deliverables:
Five Steps To Safety: Roll out 5 steps to safety training across 100% CPG northern corridors/extensions projects to MX and GC management.
Gather conversational outputs, using content to shape improvements. Use viz to capture key information.
Life Saving Rules: Link planned campaigns and HSW milestones to each of the 12 LSRs throughout 2025.
CPG northern corridors/extension safety assurance, to focus on each of the 12 LSRs in 2025.
Develop a safety onboarding pack for those working across CPG northern corridors/extensions., highlighting critical nature of LSRs.
CRORs: Collaborate with MX central functions, to roll out CROR snap briefings sessions, allowing all staff to better understand the CRORs and GEIs
Collaborate with RCAC colleagues, to roll out network access planning tool (NAPT) snap briefings.
Risk Based Approach: Adopt horizon scanning techniques against the CPG northern corridors/extensions program of works, focussing efforts on safety assurance, 5 steps to safety roll out and the application of additional risk assessments.
Create a CPG northern corridors/extensions safety and environmental hazard log. Capture key mitigations at program level, using the log to plug in learning to future program activities.
Safe Procurement: Engage procurement as a key stakeholder, to set safe principles through project agreements (respecting existing arrangements) and working with procurement colleagues in qualifying suitability of tenderers bidding work across CPG northern corridors/extensions.
Transparent Reporting: Embed a first alert process on CPG northern corridors/extensions, enabling transparent and timely reporting of SIF events and incidents.
Work with MX Program teams and incumbent GCs, to drive improvements around quality reporting of SORs, Near Misses and Incidents.
Safe By Design: Work with CPG northern corridors/extensions vice presidents and design director, to incorporate safe by design principles to the interdisciplinary design process.
Set up safe by design leading indicators, reflecting key wins in monthly reporting structure and logging situations on CPG northern corridors/extensions safety and environmental hazard log.
Get Tactical: Coach and mentor MX program colleagues, in better understanding the risks associated with the works they oversee. Schedule site visits, to look at high risk works, using 5 steps to safety to capture discussions.
SIF: As part of Viz, capture SIF score for CPG northern corridors/extensions program monthly basis. Categorise SIF reports, to input to CPG northern corridors/extensions health and safety hazard log.
