Principle Responsibilities: * Maintain a safe and clean working environment. * Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, quality procedures, manufacturers and customer specifications and industry regulations. * Review and update all documents related to the work being performed.    * Liaison with customers for field service activities. * Raise Work Orders and preparation of customer estimates. * Receive incoming Gas Turbine engines. * Disassemble engines as required. * Detail inspects all engine parts as required. * Balance rotating components. * Assemble main engine, modules and all sub-assemblies. * Flow test of individual components and assemblies. * Prepare engine for dispatch. * Travel will be required to perform field service work (No restrictions Internationally / Passport Required). * PT6A Hot Section Inspection, Power Section Repairs, Borescope Inspection and Maintenance Manual Level Tasks * JT15D Hot Section Inspection, Fan and Maintenance Manual Related Tasks. * PT6A/JT15D/PW300 Related Airframe Experience a plus (Engine Removal & Installation, Rigging) * Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.   1. Basic Job Related Skills: * Ability to use basic hand tools. * Ability to use and care for precision measuring and torqueing devices. * Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation including process documentation, parts routing procedures, engineering repair instructions, detailed work instructions and non-conformance report system. * Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications and work instructions including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins.     Responsibilities: * Providing detailed repair/recovery action within limits of delegation. * Provision of technical services through RFC, MF765, MF760 and similar requisition. * Responsible for creation of Charge Elements, Standard Labour, Standard Labour Instructions and associated Activity Budgets to carry out aircraft rectification, technical instruction and servicing within Baan templates.   Organisational Relationships: * Reports directly to the Chinook Support Manager. * Internal relationships within the platform, production, engineering and logistic support staff.   Job Requirements: (e = essential / d = desirable) Education and Training: * Indentured aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent experience * Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) * Chinook aircraft experience. * Cat B stamp holder * Able to effectively communicate both written and verbally   Technical Requirements: * Able to suggest improvements for change, innovative ideas and problem solving approach * Good negotiation and customer relationship skills. * Able to work flexibly to the needs of the business * Experience of project planning.  * Extensive Knowledge and understanding of BaaN Enterprise Resource Planning.      * Team player   Additional Information: * The successful candidate will be required to take and pass the VAQA and documentation courses if not already held. * Opportunity to develop and broaden organisational and co-ordination skills.   Minimum Qualifications: * Completion of grade 12 or equivalent with some post-secondary education a plus; preference will be given to individuals with education in the aerospace industry. * A&P License/AME License or equivalent experience * Good written and oral communication skills. * Computer familiarity and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Must pass pre-employment drug screening * Basic hand tools required     This is not an exhaustive list and from time to time additional responsibilities may be provided directly from your Line Manager.
