This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn’t have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

• Conduct Innovative Research: Initiate and pursue original research projects focusing on new Australian art histories, publishing high-quality academic papers and presenting at conferences.
• Contribute to Curriculum Development: Participate in developing undergraduate offerings in Australian art history, informed by your research interests.
• Engage in Academic Service: Support the priorities of the Art History program and contribute to research workshops and public outreach activities.
• Collaborate and Network: Work closely with the Hugh Ramsay Chair and engage in interdisciplinary collaborative research activities within and across Faculties.
