Talladega College seeks academically qualified and experienced online adjunct instructors for online teaching opportunities with Talladega College.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruction and facilitate a meaningful of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the Talladega College onsite or online learning environment.
  • Successful completion of Talladega College Online Learning Certification Training course.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format and to work online with students on a daily basis.
  • Access to personal computer, broadband internet services, and other requirements set forth in the Talladega College Distant Learning Manual.
  • Allocate approximately 10-15 hours per course per week.
  • Develops an understanding of and maintains a commitment to the mission of the college.
  • Prepare online classroom.
  • Check in on course frequently at a minimum of once every 48 hours.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in online class.
  • Regularly check in with Online Faculty Manager regarding any course issues.
  • Meet college grading deadlines and maintain compliance with online faculty minimum guidelines.
