JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Coffs Harbour Bypass is a 14-kilometre bypass of the Coffs Harbour urban area, from Englands Road in the south to Sapphire in the north.
Ferrovial and Gamuda are the proud design and construct delivery partners for the Coffs Harbour Bypass - a significant, unique and exceptional major infrastructure project that will leave a legacy of innovation and sustainability in the region for decades to come.
A unique opportunity has become available in our Human Capital team, and we are on the hunt for a Human Capital advisor.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Complete a range of administrative duties as a support service to the Project and the Human Capital Team Manage employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, probation period reviews, offboarding, mobilisation, etc.)
- Partner with stakeholders across the Project to identify and implement resourcing strategies that have a meaningful impact on employee performance, engagement and effectiveness.
- Coordinate the mobilisation and demobilisation of international and expatriates’ assignments as required as part of the Global Mobility Program Coordinate work visa applications process in line with the regional NSW legislation.
- Manage international parent companies ‘requirements, as well as maintaining HC systems and processes in line with legislative and internal requirements
- Assist the Human Capital team with end-to-end recruitment ensuring hiring process is aligned with Project’s values and parent companies’ requirements.
- Coordinate end-to-end weekly payroll, addressing associated payroll queries as required.
- Prepare human capital related documents, presentations, and statistics/data for employees and managers as required.
- Generate reports as required by the client and the parent companies from various databases, which may include information on absenteeism, annual leave, training, licences, qualifications, and performance management data.
- Assist with implementation of broader strategies to drive industry participation of a broader diversified workforce including learner workers, indigenous, women in non-traditional roles and other under-represented groups.
- Promote a positive culture regarding HSE, Environmental Management, Sustainability, People, Community and Quality by setting clear standards and acting as a role model to others.
EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary level or equivalent industry experience in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong administrative, planning and organisation skills and a high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Fair Work Act, Modern Award system, National Employment Standards and industrial agreement interpretation and implementation
- Proven ability in working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client-focus and ability to work proactively with all types of stakeholders.
- Proven ability in the management of global mobility expatriates and visa applications is preferred.
- Ability to deal confidently and manage conflict and disputes with key internal and external stakeholders in a constructive manner.
