REGIONAL BUSINESS PARTNERS

If so, we have a role as part of the local Business Partner team which supports the Frankfurt Goldman Sachs office. You will help to provide a service to employees at all levels as well as partner with Human Capital Management (HCM) colleagues locally and regionally to deliver the whole spectrum of HR processes and services for Goldman Sachs Bank Europe (GSBE). The primary coverage for this role is Frankfurt, however you will also have exposure to other GS locations across Continental Europe.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Fluency in German and English are essential (written and spoken)
  • 1-3 years’ HR experience, preferably including HR specialist / generalist experience gained within a comparable industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • German labour law knowledge would be an advantage
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
  • Professional, highly organized with strong execution skills, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Demonstrated client service focus
  • An effective and open communicator
  • Being open and sensitive to cultural/global differences, excellent teamwork skills
  • Systems knowledge: extensive knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
Responsibilities
  • Support and drive key initiatives and people priorities for the Germany offices, in partnership with London and across the Continental Europe region
  • Partner with HCM functional groups (Diversity & Inclusion, Wellness & Benefits, Employee Relations, Global Mobility, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting) on seamless HCM service to clients and dedicated local initiatives / programmes
  • Engage effectively with business leaders and employees in all aspects of the talent cycle including, including on-boarding for new hires and transfers, developmental programmes, talent reviews, promotions or off-boarding
  • Coordinate with Legal to ensure alignment of local practice with internal policy while taking into account local requirements, e.g. Records Management
  • First point of contact for GS employees in regard to all HCM related queries
  • Provide day-to-day support for HCM processes, such as processing resignations and taking care of administration related to internal transfers
  • Liaise with HCM functional groups, Compliance and Employment Law Group to manage ad hoc audit requests
  • Facilitate administrative support in regulatory processes and requests for the GSBE entity
  • Participate in HCM transformation projects involving further automation and enhancing the use of both our internal shared HCM servicesAd-hoc projects across the HCM spectrum, such as the organisation of events and internal training sessions.
