Description
The Division of Administration provides overall leadership and administrative support for all Divisions. The Division includes the Office of Director, Communications, Fiscal, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Legislative Affairs. What You Will Do: Utilize the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) & Kronos to process payroll transactions, run & review reports & make corrections as needed, enter/approve Leave Cases in Kronos. Leverage OAKS & Kronos resources to support informed decision making. Communicate with HR Liaisons, supervisors, and staff to ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate Payroll/Benefits programs for the Department of Commerce (e.g., Disability Leave, Adoption/Childbirth Leave, Military Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending). Communicate payroll & benefits programs to current & new employees (welcome letter that explains benefits programs & eligibility, Kronos timecard, pay processing deadlines, leave accruals, prior service, and OPERS retirement system), answer new employee questions, review & process required documents. Additional tasks related to payroll & benefits administration. 3 yrs. exp. in human resources. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 12 mos. exp. in human resources. -Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
