HUMAN FACTORS CONSULTANT

RPS, a Tetra Tech company is looking for a Human Factors Consultant to be based in Warrington.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Experienced in delivering Human Factors support to nuclear or other high hazard projects.
• Proficient in technical report writing.
• Understand and apply knowledge of UK regulations and standards and other regulatory regimes.
• Willing to travel to and work on clients’ sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree qualification in related subject such as Human Factors, ergonomics, psychology, industrial design.
• Working towards chartership with The Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.

As a consultant you will deliver results on multiple Human Factors projects with a variety of clients.

• You will be scoping and delivering on large, technical Human Factors assessments.
• Support the design and case/ safety report assessments.
• Undertake tasks within Human Factors such as operational claim identification, substantiation, design support, project integration management, human error identification, application of human factor methods, verification and validation.
• Resolve operational issues.
• Derivation and management of requirements.
• Apply modern human factors techniques and industry best practices.
• Foster long-term, strategic client partnerships.
