Job Description Overview The Human Performance Specialist will support the day-to-day execution of performance and readiness services for DEA trainees and agents. This role focuses on delivery of workshops, individual assessments, and performance plans that reduce injuries and enhance physical and mental readiness. Key Responsibilities Deliver workshops on resilience, stress mitigation, sleep, nutrition, and strength/conditioning both at Quantico and occasionally in field locations. Conduct assessments, screenings, and baseline testing. Provide individualized performance coaching and injury-reduction guidance. Support monthly webinars and digital learning activities. Track participant data in the Human Performance app/portal for readiness metrics and analytics. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in human performance, sports science, strength and conditioning, or a related discipline. NSCA CSCS certification required; ACSM or NASM accepted as equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a similar field preferred. Strong skills in training delivery and performance coaching. Comfortable working in a highly structured environment with clear compliance requirements.
