Charleston GI has been developing since 1989, our practice is the first and largest gastroenterology practice in the Lowcountry to operate a physicians’ practice and three nationally certified and state licensed endoscopy centers. Our team includes ten outstanding Board Certified Gastroenterologists, with a combined experience of over 100 years of treating patients.

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented professional to join our team as the Human Resource & Accounts Payable Assistant. The HR/AP Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource and accounts payable departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all files and records
  • Provides clerical support to the HR/AP departments
  • Assists with payroll functions as assigned
  • Post transactions/bookkeeping entries
  • Verify vendor/supplier invoices
  • Acts as a liaison between the Practice and external vendors as assigned
  • Assists with hiring and onboarding
  • Prepare and process bulk mailing
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Technologically savvy, proficient with computer applications
  • Prior related office experience preferred
  • Accounts payable experience preferred
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
