JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the HR functions of our organization. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various accounting principles, including SOX, IFRS, GAAP, and will be adept in financial management practices. This role requires a proactive approach to managing employee relations, compliance, and organizational development within a non-profit or governmental context.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in HR management related roles within Assisted Senior Living or Nursing Facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles including public accounting, corporate accounting, cash management, accounts payable/receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, and technical accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, financial concepts, account reconciliation, debits & credits, and financial report writing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial management practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with essential financial regulations.
