QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

  • Post secondary education in business administration, human resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Ability to provide service excellence with a client centric approach.
  • A self-starter who is results-oriented and has a sense of urgency.
  • Team-player, with a collaborative approach and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Able to multi-task and pivot as needed.
  • Demonstrates integrity and has a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Experience with Ceridian’s Dayforce is considered an asset.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department, covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. Key responsibilities include but not limited to service excellence, adherence to relevant employment legislation and organizational policies and procedures, managing the HR inbox, processing and managing HR documentation, benefit administration and supporting HR projects.
