Job Description
15-month contract
An exciting opportunity for an HR Professional to join Reitmans (Canada) Limited, Canada’s iconic specialty retailer, as we move towards celebrating 100 years of providing clients an exceptional and inclusive shopping experience and continually propel our brands into the future. As the HR Business Partner focusing on our Distribution Center and retail operations teams in Quebec and Maritimes, you will have the opportunity to participate in crafting the future of retail through our Talent and People lens.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coach and consultant for leaders to improve their team effectiveness, strategic insight, and business performance.
  • Identify and understand the people and organizational issues specific to your client groups and provide guidance and insight that support short-term and long-term strategies. Actively support strategic discussions and transfer best practices cross company.
  • Provide insight, guidance and coaching on HR issues, ensuring compliance with policies, Employment Standards and other regulatory employment and human rights requirements.
  • Partner with the Human Resources COE teams in the execution and management of a variety of programs in the areas Talent Development and Succession Planning, Onboarding, Performance Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement and Experience, Organization Effectiveness and Design.
  • Coach and guide managers and employees to enhance their RCL experience and support employee development .
  • Act as a change agent in a context of sustained growth. Challenge status quo and act as cultural advocate.
