We are looking for a highly qualified experience Human Resource Coordinator to handle a variety of day-to-day office task and clerical duties. This candidate should be very organized, professional and able to communicate very effectively. This person will support the Director of Nursing, Executive Administrator and Office Manger. The goal is to work very closely with the Home Health Aide and State Tested Nursing Assistant to ensure scheduling is coordinated and entered in the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Minimum of an associate degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Job Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Report to: Human Resources Director
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Experience in Microsoft office suite required. Knowledge of Paychex Flex and BCI Database Check.
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop or kneel, climb, or balance, talk, or hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects tools or control. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Working Environment: A general office environment requires long periods of sitting at a computer. The environmental conditions generally include ambient inside temperature, lighting, and noise level. Due to the collaborative nature of this position and accessibility for in-house meetings, it is important that the work may need to be performed in the office and during normal business hours.
Continuing Education: Complete state-required competency. Attend job-related seminars and workshops.
Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Good communication, customer service skill and quicker learner is a must. A Golden Touch Health Care Agency is looking for a Human Resource Coordinator who have experience working in the EVV system or someone who’s willing to learn.
The Human Resource Coordinator will facilitate the processes that support various functional areas within Human Resources. This role will provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Submits online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks.
Reconciles monthly benefits statements.
Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks the status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new employee files.
Processes mail.
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Runs reports as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
