Description American Plastics, a private equity-backed leading injection molded plastics manufacturer specializing in Retail Storage, Janitorial, Food Service and Cleaning products is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator for our Findlay, OH location. The HR coordinator must have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. An HR coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Include: Assist the Human Resources Manager with recruitment of hourly production positions, organizing job fairs and other recruiting events. Assist in conducting new hire orientation, process background checks and employment authorization. Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Process weekly timekeeping and maintain attendance calendars. Maintain active and terminated personnel files. Maintain job descriptions and new hire training manual. Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience within the Human Resources field. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with full cycle recruitment, handling employee concerns, and knowledge of general Human Resources laws. Experience with HR/Payroll systems is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree preferred but experience will be considered. Honesty, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality a must. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, as well as attention to detail. People-oriented, team player, responsive to employee needs. Effective professional written and oral communication skills. Resourceful, with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills. Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
