Description The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR department in a variety of administrative and operational functions. This role ensures smooth HR processes, leads activities with employee enrichment events, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and employment laws. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information. Requirements Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks. Support onboarding and offboarding processes (new hire paperwork, orientation, exit interviews). Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and changes. Help track employee attendance, PTO, and other HR metrics. Payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with HR projects, events, and initiatives (training, engagement activities, etc.) Qualifications High level of discretion when handling confidential information 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience, manufacturing or industrial support preferred but not required. Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Paylocity a plus). Key Competencies Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Team-oriented with a willingness to jump in where needed. Problem-solving and follow-through. Customer-service mindset when supporting employees. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based role. May require sitting for extended periods and working on a computer. Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 15 pounds.
