What You’ll Do as the Human Resource Director: Develop HR strategies and objectives which support the organizational objectives. Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, and writing HR policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, as well as communicating them and enforcing organization values. ' Performs market wage analysis yearly to ensure competitive wages. Establish, track and monitor adherence to HR related policies, standards, and KPIs. Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Oversees employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Implements new hire orientation and team member recognition programs. Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. Oversee and ensure timely completion of all annual compliance reporting requirements Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management. Partners with corporate HR and Benefits team to assist with high level task and/or projects. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements, advising management on needed actions. What You Bring to the Role: Must live and uphold Best-One Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of Human Resource Leaderpship experience required. Experience in Paylocity is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and team members. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
