Description:
OVERVIEW
The Human Resource Generalist will be involved in diverse HR activities, such as onboarding, employee records maintenance, and supporting various HR programs. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring compliance and enhancing the overall employee experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- At least one year of human resource management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least two years of human resource management experience
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to leave liason; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring
- confidential and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with the talent acquisition team and departmental managers.
- Implements and conducts new hire orientation.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Conduct and track exit interviews and prepare summary reports.
- Participate in Event and Social Committee’s.
- Other HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Comply with Safety SOPs, SDS sheets, and laboratory procedures per company policy and OSHA regulations.
