Our client is a mid sized Calgary-based Engineering firm leading a range of comprehensive engineering, design, project management and procurement services. They support the Canadian and International Oil and Gas industry with full service EPCM.
Their focus and experience have been on pipelines and upstream facilities, now expanding their projects into new areas including lithium and plastic pyrolysis.
Our client is an industry leader in development of pipeline leak detection systems and innovative facility designs.
They are invested in supporting the growth and development of their team members in an environment where collaboration and mentorship are paramount.

ONBOARDING & OFFBOARDING

  • Manage all aspects of new employee onboarding, including orientations, training, and checklists.
  • Maintain and update the onboarding checklist regularly to align with company changes.
  • Prepare job descriptions and ensure they are consistently updated.
  • Facilitate a professional offboarding process, including exit interviews and final documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resource Management from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of prior related work experience in Human Resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated ability to support staff in the accomplishment of service goals and objectives
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and employment laws required
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with all Human Resource matters in a confidential and professional manner
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications and
    presentations
