Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and maintain records.
• Support payroll, benefits, and employee inquiries.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: post jobs, screen candidates, schedule interviews.
• Improve candidate experience and onboarding.
• Support employer branding and recruitment metrics tracking.
• Assist with performance reviews and training programs.
• Advise managers on HR best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• HR designation/certification preferred (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP, PHR).
• 3-5 years of hands-on HR experience, including recruitment support.
• Exposure to manufacturing, food production, or regulated industries (asset).
• HRIS/HRMS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, Dayforce).
• Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo).
• Payroll software (e.g., Ceridian, Paychex, QuickBooks).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel for reporting).
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence.
• Problem-solving and ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
• Organizational skills to juggle HR ops and recruitment priorities.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: Northeast Calgary, Alberta
• Type: Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours per week
