POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Laval, QC. In this role, you will support HR functions for both our Canadian and U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and HR best practices across both regions. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources management.
· Minimum 3 years+ of experience working within the Human Resources field.
· Knowledge and experience are preferred in USA HR practices.
· Proficiency and Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French spoken and written.
· The ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
· Capacity to apply and handle with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
Skills:
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support employees and resolve conflicts and HR-related issues effectively.
· Experience in developing and enforcing company HR policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
· Experience with hiring and recruiting processes, including reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant databases.
· Experience in onboarding strategies and deliver engaging orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth integration experience.
· Experience in maintaining and updating job descriptions and job requirements in alignment with HR objectives and organizational needs.
· Experience in conducting exit interviews, analyzing feedback, and providing actionable recommendations to improve retention and employee satisfaction.
· Demonstrates ability to contribute to business operations and support the achievement of organizational goals through strategic HR initiatives.
· Participate with and collaborate with concerned dept to develop efficient employees training and development programs
· Experience in Canadian and USA immigration and nonimmigrant visa processes.

QUALIFICATIONS ET COMPÉTENCES :

  • Baccalauréat en gestion des ressources humaines.
  • Minimum 3 ans d’expérience dans le domaine des ressources humaines.
  • Connaissance et expérience souhaitées en pratiques RH américaines.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et relations interpersonnelles, en anglais et en français, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
  • Capacité à développer et gérer des relations interpersonnelles à tous les niveaux de l’entreprise.
  • Discrétion et haut niveau de confidentialité dans la gestion d’informations sensibles.
  • Maîtrise des systèmes SIRH et de la suite MS Office.

· Use HR software to manage payroll, employee benefits and time management.
· Organize hard and soft copies of employee records.
· Provide day-to-day HR support for employees in both Canada and the US.
· Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
· Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.
· Administer and develop HR policies, procedures, and programs.
· Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
· Assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination in both countries.
