The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop, implement, and evaluate HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and support business objectives. • Oversee all aspects of recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes to attract, develop, and retain top talent. • Manage employee relations by providing guidance on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, coaching, investigations, and disciplinary actions. • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining current knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements. • Administer compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee recognition programs while ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Coordinate and facilitate employee training, leadership development, compliance education, and performance evaluation programs to promote employee growth and engagement. • Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data while preparing reports and analyzing HR metrics to support informed business decisions. • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, succession planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives. • Develop and update employee policies, handbooks, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture that encourages employee engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information while exercising sound judgment and professionalism. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including experience in a management or leadership role. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence others, and effectively partner with employees and leadership. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs. • High level of professionalism with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other business software applications.
