Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established global organisation that combines the agility of a local business with the support, resources and career opportunities of an international enterprise. Operating within a dynamic manufacturing environment, the business has built a reputation for quality, innovation and operational excellence. As the Human Resources Manager, you'll become a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, partnering with stakeholders at all levels and influencing the employee experience from the ground up. With the autonomy to shape outcomes locally while collaborating with a global HR network, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds.

Your new role

Reporting to the APAC HR leadership team, you'll take ownership of a broad and highly visible HR portfolio across the Australian business. Acting as the key HR partner to both operational and corporate stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in supporting business performance, developing leaders and driving people initiatives.

This is a true HR generalist role offering variety, autonomy and exposure across the full employee lifecycle. No two days will be the same, with responsibilities including:

  • Partnering closely with operational and commercial leaders
  • Providing expert advice on employee relations and workplace matters
  • Leading workplace investigations and performance management processes
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across professional and operational roles
  • Supporting onboarding, talent development and succession planning initiatives
  • Advising on employment legislation, awards and HR best practice
  • Driving engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives
  • Supporting HR systems, reporting and process improvement activities
  • Collaborating with global HR specialists on broader people initiatives

This role offers the ideal blend of strategic business partnering and hands-on HR delivery, making it perfect for someone who enjoys being close to the business and building strong stakeholder relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for a confident and operationally minded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.

  • Experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist
  • A strong background in employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
  • Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar workforces
  • End-to-end recruitment experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to influence and build credibility with leaders
  • A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to operate autonomously within a broad HR role
  • Experience within manufacturing or FMCG will be highly regarded. Candidates from logistics, supply chain, industrial, construction or other operational environments are also encouraged to apply.
