Konik is partnering with a local architectural firm that is seeking an HR Manager. This leadership-level HR role is responsible for building and implementing people strategies that support organizational goals and foster a strong, engaged workplace culture. The position oversees all HR functions including employee relations, professional development, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and internship programs
  • Manage compensation, benefits, open enrollment, and vendor relationships
  • Support employee engagement, training, and leadership development programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics, retention, and KPIs
  • Conduct organizational reviews and support compensation audits
  • Lead internal communication efforts including surveys and HR intranet updates
  • Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and support sustainability certification compliance

Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 10+ years of HR experience, including leadership roles
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Proven ability to lead HR programs across recruitment, development, and compliance
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS tools a plus
