Konik is partnering with a local architectural firm that is seeking an HR Manager. This leadership-level HR role is responsible for building and implementing people strategies that support organizational goals and foster a strong, engaged workplace culture. The position oversees all HR functions including employee relations, professional development, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives
- Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and internship programs
- Manage compensation, benefits, open enrollment, and vendor relationships
- Support employee engagement, training, and leadership development programs
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, retention, and KPIs
- Conduct organizational reviews and support compensation audits
- Lead internal communication efforts including surveys and HR intranet updates
- Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and support sustainability certification compliance
Human Resources Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 10+ years of HR experience, including leadership roles
- SHRM certification preferred
- Proven ability to lead HR programs across recruitment, development, and compliance
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS tools a plus
