Description

We're excited to be partnering with a highly regarded professional services firm to appoint a Human Resources Manager at an important point in the firm's growth. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working at pace, values autonomy and wants the scope to influence how a business attracts, develops, engages and retains its people.

Working closely with the firm's entrepreneurial and ambitious Managing Partner, as well as the broader leadership team, you will have the opportunity to shape and elevate the firm's people function. With a clear growth strategy in place, the focus will be on introducing contemporary HR thinking, strengthening the employee experience and ensuring the firm has the people frameworks, capability and workforce strategy to support its future.

The Role

This is a broad, hands-on role with genuine scope to influence the way the firm supports and develops its people.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Reviewing, developing and implementing contemporary HR frameworks, policies and best practice
  • Shaping the firm's employee experience and strengthening its Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Developing strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment and managing relationships with external recruitment partners
  • Developing contemporary performance management and capability frameworks
  • Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, succession and future capability requirements
  • Supporting learning, development and career pathways across the firm
  • Providing commercially focused advice across employee relations and broader people matters
  • Using people insights and feedback to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

About You

You will be a degree-qualified HR professional who brings energy, commercial thinking and a genuine desire to contribute to the firm's success.

You will bring:

  • Previous HR experience within professional services, with legal or accounting experience highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to partner with senior professionals
  • A driven, energetic and naturally engaging style
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to move between strategy and delivery
  • The confidence to bring ideas, influence thinking and drive outcomes
  • A genuine desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who wants autonomy, influence and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a successful and evolving professional services firm.
