JOB OVERVIEW:
As an HR Officer within our organisation the successful candidate will be expected to support the HR department through efficient administration, creating and maintain records and producing reports for the Head of HR. They will work closely with the Head of HR and Factory Management to ensure that all HR databases are updated and accessible.
Education:
· Administration: Maintaining employee files and ensuring all documentation is recorded accurately. Processing administration regarding starters and leavers. Maintaining various HR spread sheets and trackers. Diary management. Employee correspondence regarding meetings, absence, and performance management. Minute taking / note taking at meetings.
· Payroll: Supporting the HR team with preparation of the weekly and monthly payroll. Working effectively with department managers to ensure accurate recording of hours worked, holiday approvals and absence management and ensuring this is reflected accurately in payroll preparation. Follow up on queries from employees and management on payroll issues.
· General: Managing the HR inbox, escalating queries, as necessary. Assisting with any ad-hoc projects that arise. Acting as point of contact for HR queries.
· Employee Communication: Working proactively with managers to ensure that key information is communicated accurately and effectively to all employees.
· Continuous Improvement: Working closely with the HR manager to continuously improve the HR department, the employee engagement and general working environment of the business.
· Recruitment- Complete weekly recruitment exercises to meet production needs. Complete all stages of recruitment including interview, selection, and induction.
· Employee relations: Schedule employee relation meetings, minute taking and provided detailed outcomes when needed.
· Any other roles as set out by the head of HR.
