The Superior North Catholic District School Board is inviting applications for the position of Human Resources & Academic Services Officer. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in supporting both Human Resources Operations and Educational Leadership across the system.
This role is responsible for assisting and coaching Board leaders in the administration of supportive absence management programs and procedures. It ensures that employee absences are managed compassionately and effectively while maintaining operational continuity.
In addition, the position is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of employee attendance records, is the first point of contact for attendance-related inquiries, and ensures the smooth daily operations of the Human Resources team through the monitoring of attendance, managing records, generating reports, and administrative support.
Beyond attendance and Human Resources functions, this role also supports Educational Leadership and organizational excellence by coordinating departmental communications, overseeing meetings and events, preparing detailed reports and presentations, and supporting Ministry of Education reporting and compliance processes.
