How you'll help us achieve it Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal, with over 7 million users. And we're still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people's everyday lives. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant. You will be responsible for ensuring that all HR-related documents (employment contracts and amendments, work certificates, leave and work attestations, and job change declarations) are prepared accurately and signed by relevant stakeholders. You will also follow up on employee queries, manage employee relations, update the Employer Register and Social Report, and participate in any HR-relevant task or project. In this role, you'll; Draft and review HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, promotions, amendments, work certificates. Ensure accurate and up-to-date (physical and digital) records of employee information. Assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, suspensions, resignation). Liaise with external partners, like the social security administration, for maternity and work accidents. Stay updated on HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance. Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures accordingly. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, including maintaining employee handbooks and updating policies as needed. Guide employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters. Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues. Participate in HR projects. Key details Location: You'll work from our office in Abidjan and may travel to upcountry locations. Work authorization in Senegal is required. This is a permanent position. Excellent writing and listening skills. Very good command of written and spoken French and good knowledge of English. Computer proficiency and ability to operate Microsoft Office packages. 2 years of experience in a similar position.
