Etax Accountants is looking for a motivated HR Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative HR team on a full-time basis.


This is a great opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to build their experience in a broad HR role. You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals who will provide ongoing guidance, mentoring and support as you develop your skills and confidence across a range of HR functions.


About the Role

As an HR Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day operations, recruitment and HR initiatives across the business.


You’ll gain hands-on experience across areas including recruitment, HR administration, employee support, HR systems, projects and internal initiatives.


Position Details

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid role – flexible mix of office and work from home days
  • Immediate start available


Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Be a positive first point of contact for HR enquiries
  • Assist with end-to-end Recruitment processes for seasonal roles
  • Conduct reference and background checks
  • Maintain accurate personnel records using our in-house HRIS
  • Schedule interviews and meetings
  • Assist with coordinating internal events and initiatives
  • Contribute to HR projects as required
  • Provide operational support across a range of HR functions and processes
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the HR team


Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to develop their HR career.


Ideally, you will have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional or administrative environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and open to guidance
  • The confidence to ask questions, take on feedback and learn from experienced HR professionals
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • A desire to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in learning and growing your HR career
