POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role in the daily operations, supporting managers and employees with P&C needs. This role focuses on recruitment coordination, employee relations, compliance, and administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant industry experience
  • Previous experience in an HR support role, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for staff
  • Facilitate staff arrivals and orientations
  • Support recruitment objectives and processes
  • Assist in maintaining a positive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction
  • Support conflict resolution efforts, including mediating workplace disputes
  • Provide onsite P&C support to managers and employees
  • Maintain accurate employment records for all staff
  • Manage and submit WorkSafe claims and liaise with WorkSafe BC as needed
  • Assist in policy implementation and compliance with regulations
  • Oversee uniform ordering, inventory management, distribution, and collection
  • Work with the Staff Housing Manager on housing assignments for employees
