We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This role involves handling a variety of HR functions as well as general administrative duties to support the company’s operations.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day HR tasks, administrative duties, and compliance-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation: Salary based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative roles preferred.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.08 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including required forms and pre-employment drug testing.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including processing terminations and system updates.
  • Assist employees with benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) inquiries and updates.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager to track and update employee certifications.
  • Manage and update time-off and vacation schedules.
  • Apply for and renew professional and business licenses.
  • Update and renew DOT & CDL records as needed.
  • Complete pre-qualification documents for new projects.
  • Apply for permits and schedule necessary inspections.
  • Request and provide certificates of insurance as required.
  • Manage employee badging for job site access.
  • Schedule apprenticeship classes and maintain apprentice records.
  • Handle short-term disability, long-term disability, and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Coordinate charitable donations, employee event sign-ups, and company event scheduling.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
