We’re looking for a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract in Edmonton. This role supports a variety of HR functions within a dynamic credit union environment, helping ensure smooth operations and a positive employee experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of experience in HR or administrative support, ideally in a unionized or regulated setting
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in HR or Business an asset
Proficient in HR systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, and confidentiality practices
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Available to start immediately
Respond to employee and leader inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Support HR initiatives like intranet updates and service awards
Manage benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and billing reconciliation
Maintain accurate HR and benefits data through regular audits
Monitor the benefits inbox and assist with disability and leave claims
Help implement wellness initiatives and coordinate annual benefits enrollment
Organize HR files, reports, and employee communications
Assist with special HR projects as needed
AD-hoc duties as required.
