THE ROLE: HR Advisor
LOCATION: Grimsby
SALARY: £30,000 + performance related bonus & benefits
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated HR professional to work within our HR & Payroll department. The HR Advisor will take the lead on supporting our employees and management team with any people processes and policies, employment law or wellbeing concerns. Another key aspect of the role will be the continued development and implementation of a wellbeing strategy which meets the needs of the team and business. Working within the HR department, the role also includes completing work on recruitment & induction, training & talent management, payroll & remuneration and performance management.
Due to the nature of the role, this will primarily be an office based position working from our offices in central Grimsby, although an element of hybrid working will be available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with employee relations processes in line with policy & employment law
  • Providing advice & support to both employees and managers on any employment related matters or wellbeing concerns
  • Continue with the development and embedding of our wellbeing strategy and policy to ensure it meets the needs of the employees
  • Provide support with sickness absence management
  • Produce management information around key areas of responsibility
  • Support our team of Mental Health First Aiders and provide regular refresher training and guidance
  • Provide training to managers and leaders to assist the development of their people management skills
  • Assist with all areas within the wider scope of HR responsibilities such as recruitment, induction, training & development, performance management and contract amendments.
